Brazilian hardwoods are among the longest-lasting materials used in outdoor construction. With proper care, they can last multiple decades in harsh weather conditions.
Do tropical hardwoods require a lot of maintenance?
No. Tropical hardwoods are naturally durable. They only require periodic cleaning, and you can apply a UV-protective oil if you want to preserve their original color. If left untreated, they gracefully weather to a silver patina.
Does Ipe change color over time?

Is Cumaru as strong as Ipe?
